just a small update.. nothing fancy

Well we are back at school and the girls LOVE IT.  Nola is loving the 6th grade middle school.. the freedom from being with Cora all day, the changing classrooms, buying snacks at the kiosco.. it is all great and she is doing really well adjusting!!  Cora is loving 5th grade!  She has a great teacher (Nola's teacher from last year) and is hell bent on proving she does everything better than her sister.

Before school started we decided to stay a few nights in Buenos Aires.. it seems that we just don't spend enough time exploring the city so close to us..

We checked into the fanciest of hotels:)  the girls had to be all fancy and stuff!!  they loved it!!

Cafe Tortoni is one of the oldest cafe in BA and it is lovely for hot chocolate and churros.. so of course we had pie and coffee.. :)

Kids have been dying to see a tango show.. so we did.. complete with tango lessons before the show and a great dinner!

Went to see a great museum which of course is only open 9-5 monday thru friday.. because of course that is when tourists want to see a museum,,. but we found a new donut shop, not a total loss

and I thought I had the weight of the world on my shoulders. HA

The Japanese Gardens.. spectacular

cora.. she liked the gardens:)

pasta so heavenly I am glad I don't live closer to the restaurant of else I would be broke!

The Evita Museum.

Riding a horse and carriage seems the only way to see the sunset in the city!

We never go to Buenos Aires at night.. it is just too far from the house, etc.. staying in the city gave us the chance to walk downtown at night and it was wonderful.. very NYC like!!  tons of people and a really great vibe

Pizza is big here and it is so very different tasting that NYC pizza.. we did our own mini pizza challange but were completely full by 3 places.. LOL.. funnily enough our first place was the best by far.. fyi 11;30 at night.. places still have waits up to an hour for a table!!!
