February 2019 - October 2019.... man I am slacking

So basically I always mean to blog.. but I don't.. I get busy and it shifts way down my to do list.  This year has been intense to say the least.. being a full time student, full time mom and volunteering for the kids school has me a bit worn out..

I am basically existing on coffee and well more coffee..

But while it has been an intense year the purpose of this blog was to always show where we have been and a few highlights of our time here...I want to preserve the time we have here.  I am finding these years have slipped right by and I know they will continue to go faster and faster.

So here we go:

So after a most AMAZING trip to Vietnam we were basically home for 5 days and then headed to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico to spend some time with my Mother in Law...

From the warmth of summer to the Fall in Argentina.. our first school holiday we set off for San Martin de los Andes.. a small mountain town famous for it's skiing.. which we did not do...  We basically walked around, hiked some mountains and took in the amazing views.

The absolute beauty of San Martin de los Andes.. Argentina has the most amazing vistas.  This is the area of the world I tell Scott all of the time this is where I want to grow old together..

So back in Buenos Aires there is the most famous of theaters... the Teatro Colon.  my favorite!  I make my family come with me.. they basically hate it, but they need culture!

Lima, Peru... what a neat city!  The sights, sounds and the FOOD.. OMG the food.  I love Lima!!

For Easter tradition in some South American cities is to make these amazing pictures outlined in coffee grounds and then filled in with fresh flowers.. see below.. it takes HOURS!

The shores of Miraflores
