this is what my husband says to me last week.. yup.. 35 days give or take 5 days until the girls and I get on a plane and leave our home and move to Argentina to be a family again.
for the past 4 years we have lived apart.. and it has sucked to be blunt..
I have two girls.. 8 and 10.. they are ready to have dad around 100% of the time, not just on weekends or trips home during long weeks away for work.
we have been preparing for this move since August 2013!! never did we think it would take forever to get a contract signed and to actually get the wheels turning, but yup here we are.
and you know what?? I AM SO NOT READY!!!.. I have had so much time to prepare and while my house is tidy and getting pack up slowly, my kids are ready, things are in place, house for sale, etc.. I am not ready. I am not ready to leave this town that we have called home for the past 6 years. I am not ready to be lost in a new city. I am not ready to let go...
